The AssistVC project is researching an intelligent assistance system that compensates for missing components in an overall simulation model by using AI to search for suitable replacement models from an online library. The components used can then be integrated into the existing simulation model using a replacement control system that is also being researched as part of AssistVC. Since individual components in the overall model are frequently replaced during the early stages of model creation, an update mechanism is also designed to intelligently transfer the behavior of a replaced component to the newly implemented component.
