This is an agreement (“Agreement”) between you the downloader (“Downloader”) and the provider of the materials (“Provider”) governing the use of the materials (“Materials”) to be downloaded.
I. Acceptance of this Agreement
By downloading or otherwise accessing the Materials, Downloader represents acceptance of the terms of this Agreement.
II. Modification of this Agreement
Provider may modify the terms of this Agreement at any time. However, any modifications will only be effective for downloads subsequent to such modification. No modifications will supersede any previous terms that were in effect at the time of the Downloader’s download.
III. Licensing of Repository Contents
The contents of the repository are published under different licenses:
- Model Artifacts (including all
.joblib files): are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
- Source Code (including
predict_bays.py and related scripts): is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0) .
This program is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify
it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or
(at your option) any later version.
This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful,
but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of

IV. Use of the Materials
Use of the Materials includes but is not limited to viewing, executing, and analyzing the content included in the Materials; running predictions using the surrogate models; comparing outputs with other methods; verifying research results; and extracting and/or adapting parts of the Materials for use in research, academic, or non-commercial projects.
A. Representations
In use of the Materials, Downloader represents that:
- Downloader is not bound by any legal obligations that prevent use of the Materials;
- Downloader will not use the Materials in any way prohibited by applicable laws;
- Downloader acknowledges that the Materials are provided for research and non-commercial use;
- Downloader acknowledges that the Materials may contain inaccuracies or limitations and accepts responsibility for their use.
B. Restrictions
In use of the Materials, Downloader shall not:
- Use the dataset or trained models for commercial purposes;
- Integrate the models into commercial products, services, or workflows without prior written permission;
- Redistribute the models as part of a paid or proprietary offering;
- Misrepresent the origin, authorship, or validity of the Materials.
V. Representations and Warranties
PROVIDER REPRESENTS THAT PROVIDER HAS THE RIGHTS TO DISTRIBUTE THE MATERIALS. EXCEPT FOR SUCH REPRESENTATION, THE MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, PROVIDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE MATERIALS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE; (B) THE MATERIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION; (C) ANY DEFECTS OR ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED; (D) THE MATERIALS ARE FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (E) THE RESULTS OF USING THE MATERIALS WILL MEET DOWNLOADER’S REQUIREMENTS.
DOWNLOADER’S USE OF THE MATERIALS IS AT THEIR OWN RISK.
VI. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL PROVIDER BE LIABLE UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE MATERIALS.
VII. Indemnification
Downloader agrees to indemnify and hold Provider harmless from any loss, liability, or damages arising from misuse of the Materials, violation of this Agreement, or infringement of third-party rights.
VIII. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction of the Provider.
IX. Integration and Severability
This Agreement represents the entire agreement between Downloader and Provider. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
X. Miscellaneous
No partnership or agency relationship is created by this Agreement. Provider may assign rights under this Agreement without restriction.
