This dataverse contains the configuration controlled documentation for the SOFIA Telescope Assembly subsystem 5400 Reaction Mass Damper Damping Systems (AMD): System providing a dampening effect on jitter originating from the PMA and SMA.

The SOFIA TA Technology and Operations Archive Manual contains a guide how to use the archive as well as an overview of the SOFIA TA Hardware Breakdown Structure (HBS).

The AMD component is organized according to the HBS and contains subsystems as listed in the following tree structure:
