Description
|
FPGA bitstream/HDL source, Python-based Jupyter/ipywidgets control and processing software, and PCB design files for the PYNQ-based NMR backend described in "A Scalable, Open-Source SoC-Based Backend for Standalone Low-Field NMR Systems" (submitted to Journal of Magnetic Resonance Open, 2026). The dataset comprises three types of files produced during the development of the NMR backend described in the associated publication: HDL source code for the FPGA logic implemented on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, Python/Jupyter notebooks for experiment control, data acquisition, and signal processing on the embedded processing system, and PCB design files for the circuit boards used. The HDL and software components were developed iteratively and validated experimentally over several measurement campaigns on a ZCU104 development board; the PCB files correspond to the board layout as fabricated and used in the reported experiments. The data is organized by functional area into folders: HVNMR_FPGA_Design (the HDL data), HVNMR_GUI_30102024_Patch (the software), and Hardware. The HDL folder contains the project structure and source files for the programmable logic; the software folder contains the Jupyter notebooks and associated Python modules for device configuration, pulse programming, and signal processing; the PCB folder contains schematic and layout files in Altium.
