Description

This repository contains the replication data for the conference paper "Uncertainty-Aware Aerodynamic Orbit Control in Very Low Earth Orbits", presented at the 2026 AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference in Whistler, Canada.

The repository comprises satellite trajectory data for aerodynamic manoeuvres in Very Low Earth Orbit. For a given reference scenario, the effect of uncertainty in thermospheric density on the manoeuvre effect is evaluated both analytically and numerically via a Monte Carlo simulation. The scripts to reproduce the data are included as well to allow for replication of the results and further analyses with varying parameters.

This work is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) - Project-ID 516238647 - SFB 1667/1 (ATLAS - Advancing Technologies of Very Low-Altitude Satellites).
