Dataset Description
The data were obtained using shadowgraphy-based Defocusing Micro Particle Tracking Velocimetry (SDµPTV) and provide time- and height-resolved measurements of the flow within a radially spreading lamella generated by droplet impact onto a thin liquid film.

Experiments
Two fluid systems (B20 and B50) are investigated at a nominal dimensionless film thickness of h/d0 ≈ 0.18, each consisting of three repeated experiments.
In addition, raw experimental shadowgraphy images (.tif) are provided for representative cases (ID 1405 and 1420), including micro-scale bottom-view perspectives.
Data Format and Reproducibility
The dataset contains MATLAB (.mat) files and corresponding CSV exports to ensure accessibility without proprietary software dependencies. The provided scripts were developed and tested using MATLAB R2024a or later.
All processed data enable the reproduction of the key figures of the associated publication.
