This dataset contains energies of hydrogen states as well as transition energies and dipole strengths in dependence of the magnetic field strength given in <i>β</i>, where <i>β</i> = <i>B</i> / <i>B</i>0 with the reference magnetic field strength <i>B</i>0 = 4.70103×105 T. The energies are given in atomic Rydberg units. All results were calculated with the “H2db” tool presented in [C. Schimeczek and G. Wunner, Comp. Phys. Commun. 185, 614 (2014)].
<h2>Energies</h2>
The file <code>energies.7z</code> contains energies in dependence of β (ranging from <i>β</i> ≈ 0 to <i>β</i> ≈ 1000) for the lowest 30 hydrogen states of each symmetry subspace defined by the magnetic quantum number <i>m</i> = 0...-4, <i>z</i>-parity <i>πz</i> = ±1 and excitation number <i>ν</i>. The data points are chosen such that one can linearly interpolate between them with an accuracy of at least 10-5 Rydberg energies.
<h2>Dipole Transitions</h2>
The file <code>transitions.7z</code> contains transition energies and strengths of dipole transitions in dependence of <i>β</i> for important transitions of the Lyman, Balmer, Paschen or Brackett series.PhysicsMagnetic fieldAtomic dataB-splineFinite elementHydrogenC.
